4 Ways To Prevent Cross-Contamination

Cross-Contamination is what happens when bacgteria from one food item are transferred to another food item (such as storing poultry and produce alongside eachother.)

1. Separate raw meat, poultry, and seafood from other foods while shopping. Place them into plastic bags. You can use the bags found in the produce section. The plastic bag will contain the juice so it does not drip onto other foods.

2. ALWAYS use a separate cutting board for raw meats

3. Wash your hands with warm, soapy water and dry with clean paper towels.

4. Store raw foods on shelves below "ready to eat" foods to minimize contamination from accidental drips.

As always use your Fridge Buddy to prevent cross-contamination from forming bacteria in your fridge. The 100% Natural mineral inside The Fridge Buddy absorbs contaminated water particles that are a breeeding ground for bacteria.
